MY GOD

While we all believe in the EVOLUTION of MAN, and we all agree in the development of cells by modification of genes by various biological activities which is a strong reason for this evolution, a question keeps haunting me….. WHAT IS GOD?

Many will like to call it an acronym for Generator – Operator – Destroyer

Many more will argue on religious beliefs and practices based on ancient wisdom

And still many will attribute it as blind faith.

This ignited upon me to read available literature. The quest for knowing overcame my non avid nature and I did manage to acquire available knowledge though there may be volumes still to understand. However my analytical mind has come to settle with the following assessment.

When we believe in the evolution of man then we also agree that the primitive homo sapiens has seen the stone age, the fire age, the metal age and then transformed from being nomads to agriculturists.

While in this process he began to stay in groups as families, the idle mind started to think and appreciate nature. Obviously now man started seeing his family grow and understand how a child’s life ended in old age. While staying together the art of communication developed and language was born. As a result of this complaining and questioning started.

Now, when a child asks a question for which the elder does not know the answer he relies on imagination, and thus to a question like who made this land could have got an answer as say GOD.

We need to understand now that the oldies in the family had less work in the fields and lots of time to imagine, also, when one imagines he is actually meditating.
Meditation brings into your system a harmony of all your glands and enzymes which is proven by science, and this gives you a feeling of bliss. While at it you start seeing and feeling things according to you as good things. Another thing that this period gave the ancient man is the time to record many aspects of climate, rotation of day and night, status of constellation etc.  So let us believe the one who had the most number of correct data recorded was recognized as all knowing and perhaps a prophet or a GURU. And this led to the formation of gurukuls where each Guru started commanding an army of disciples.

Period of time led to these groups defining their own ideology and thus RELIGION was established.

And rest is all stories.

So I will like to believe that GOD is nothing but a creation of MAN to satisfy his own quests.

All kinds of things in this universe with energy of life do communicate and it’s only man perhaps who does it by overdoing it resulting in unbalancing the nature.
